| DUKES OF DESTINY The Dukes are pleased to participate in this family friendly event along Germantown Ave, which will be closed to all vehicular traffic as fine arts and crafts, live entertainment, exhibits and children's activities, adorn the blocks between 8000 and 8600. Visitors can stroll the Avenue to view and purchase fine arts and hand crafts, enjoy live music or dine al fresco. Children can create their own works of art in sand or wood or choose a favorite ride in a special amusement park. Admission to the festival is free while Chestnut Hill parking lots will offer a special all-day rate of $5.00.
The Dukes will play on an outdoor stage from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. | ||

The NJFF is one of only a handful of folk festivals in the U.S. managed by undergraduate students. The students are responsible for all aspects of advertising, planning, and producing an event that celebrates the diverse multicultural and indigenous folk life of New Jersey and the surrounding region. The event will be held at Eagleton Institute, corner of George Street and Ryders Lane, on the Douglass campus of Rutgers, the State University, in New Brunswick, NJ 08901. | DUKES OF DESTINY Jerry Ricks is an important international Blues performer and perhaps the closest living link to many authentic acoustic blues guitar styles. Jerry was also the teacher and mentor for many Philly guitarists, including Darryl Hall and John Oates, Bob Saltzman, Al "Dr. Licks" Slutsky, Dukes’ guitarists Richard Ray Adler and AC Steel , and many more. Jerry has been playing and touring in Europe for several decades and is now sick in a hospital in Austria.
